Teaching to Diversity is a resource that can be used in all classrooms to enhance student learning through the use of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and Differentiated Instruction (DI). Specifically, Jennifer Katz discusses social and academic inclusion and what it means to “include”. Provided in the text are specific programs (Spirit Buddies, Democratic Classrooms and Respecting Diversity (RD)) that provide framework for achieving an inclusive classroom and education system.
